A registered British sex offender who turned up in Ireland at the weekend has been charged with causing criminal damage to a press photographer’s camera.
Alexander Dalgleish (36) was released on bail at Donegal Garda Station on his own undertaking to attend the local district court on September 3.
He is accused of damaging the camera of ‘Donegal Democrat’ photographer Matt Britton during an incident at a boat blessing ceremony at Mullinasole, 7km from the town on Sunday evening.
