Paedophile returns after UK jail term

A registered British paedophile, whose cover was blown while he was on the run in Ireland over a year ago, has returned to the country after serving a prison sentence.

Former disc jockey Alexander Dalgleish (36) is back in the Donegal area. He clashed with a photographer when spotted at raft races yesterday evening in Mullinasole.

He was convicted in 2001 of unlawful sex with a 13-year-old and indecent assault of another 13-year-old and jailed for nine months.

He was also placed on the sex offenders' register for 10 years.
