Gardai appeal for public help in alleged sex attack probe

Gardai in Tralee yesterday appealed for assistance with their investigations into an alleged sexual assault in the town.

The incident is said to have happened early on Monday in the Rock Street/Connolly Park area where a woman in her early 20s claimed to have been assaulted by a man. Gardaí have asked anyone who may have been in the area between 4.30am and 6.30am on Monday to come forward.

CCTV footage is also being examined as part of the probe.
