Jury sees video

A polish man on trial for the attempted rape and sexual assault of a Wexford woman made admission when interviewed about the alleged incident on July 10, 2006.

The jury was shown a video where a garda said: “You tried to remove the lady’s underwear in an attempt to sexually assault or rape her, is that correct?

The jury heard the accused, 26, reply “yes” through a translator. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
