The Ferns Inquiry into the handling of allegations or complaints of child sexual abuse involving Catholic priests in or attached to the Diocese of Ferns has begun hearing evidence from members of the public. There are other people who could be of assistance to the Inquiry and who have not yet come forward. We urge them to contact us without delay. If you have spoken or written Mr George Birmingham SC, who concluded a preliminary inquiry into this matter, and you don't wish us to writee to you directly, please let us know and we will make alternative, confidential arrangements.
