Child Protection Public Information Campaign Adult Questionnaire (January 2008)

Following the Ferns Inquiry Report (2005), the HSE set about implementing its recommendations. One of the recommendations included the need to design and implement a public awareness campaign on child protection.

As part of this campaign the HSE are researching how best to help families and children who may have experienced abuse or neglect. They plan to produce a handbook that helps explain what child abuse is, what a person should do if they think a child is being abused and what happens when abuse is reported.

They need your assistance now to help further shape this phase of the project and One in Four is supporting the HSE in this regard.

Completed questionnaires can be emailed to
[email protected] or posted to Deirdre Fitzpatrick, Advocacy Director, One in Four, 2 Holles Street, Dublin 2.
