The Mixed Group

For both women and men who have experienced sexual abuse and/or sexual violence in childhood or as an adult.

The mixed group is a deep process group that runs on a weekly basis for two and a half hours. It is an ongoing group that runs for between 10 and 14 weeks followed by a break. The break allows for intake of new clients and for any client who may wish to finish in group to do so.

Groups are facilitated by fully qualified accredited and experienced psychotherapists. There is a maximum of 12 participants and a waiting list will be used if the numbers wishing to participate exceeds 12. Individuals interested in joining this group are invited to the One in Four offices to meet with the facilitators for a First Contact interview prior to joining the group.

The Allies Group

The allies group is for both women and men and offers support to individuals who have been or who are supporting someone who has experienced sexual abuse and/or sexual violence in childhood or as an adult.

The allies group is facilitated by an experienced and accredited psychotherapist and runs weekly from to 8.00 p.m. There is a maximum of 8 participants and a waiting list will be used if the number wishing to participate exceeds 8.

It is an ongoing group that runs for between 10 and 14 weeks followed by a break. The break allows for intake of new clients and for any client who may wish to finish in group to do so.
